Privacy policy

This policy explains how JAG CONNECTION, S.L. processes the personal data of people who visit jaglogistica.com and of those who ask us for information or a quotation through the channels offered on this website: email, phone and the quotation tool.

2. What data we process and why

2.1. Requests by email or phone

Data
The data you choose to give us when you write to the email address or call the phone number shown on this website. This is usually your name, your email address or phone number, the company you work for and the details of the transport you need (service, origin and destination of the load). Please do not send us more personal data than we need to handle your request.
Purpose
To answer your enquiry, prepare the quotation you request and follow up on the requested quotation. We do not use this data to send you advertising.
Legal basis
Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). When you act on behalf of a company, processing your business contact details is also based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Article 19 of Spanish Organic Law 3/2018, LOPDGDD).
Retention
24 months from our last communication if no contract follows; we then delete it. If you hire a service, the data moves to customer management and is kept for the duration of the relationship and then for the periods required by commercial and tax law.
Required data
Giving us your data is voluntary, but without a way to contact you (email or phone) we cannot reply to you or send you the quotation.

2.2. Quotation tool

The buttons that link to the quotation tool (for example, “Get an instant route quote”) open the quotation tool at dashboard.circularpartners.es, a separate application from this website. Circular Partners, which provides that tool, processes the quotation request data you enter there on behalf of JAG CONNECTION, S.L. as a data processor. That data is used for the purpose, on the legal basis and for the retention period described in section 2.1, and what section 2.1 says about required data also applies to the data the tool asks you for.

To detect and fix errors, the tool uses the Sentry monitoring service, which acts as a sub-processor of Circular Partners. When an error occurs, the tool sends Sentry technical data about your session and personal data such as your IP address, and it may also send a recording (replay) of what you did in the tool during that session. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in the tool working properly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Sentry keeps this data for no more than 90 days. It receives the data in the European Union, but it belongs to a group headquartered in the United States (sections 3 and 4).

2.3. Browsing the website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or third-party resources (see the cookie policy). The servers that deliver it automatically log each request: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page and browser (user agent).

Purpose
To keep the website secure, detect errors and broken links, and prevent abuse.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and available (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
30 days; the logs are then deleted automatically.

3. Recipients

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law (for example, with public authorities or courts that request it). The following providers process data on our behalf as data processors or sub-processors (Art. 28 GDPR):

  • Amazon Web Services: website hosting and delivery, and technical logs. Data is stored in the European Union region located in Ireland.
  • Circular Partners (dashboard.circularpartners.es): the quotation tool and management of the quotation requests made in it.
  • Microsoft (Microsoft 365): corporate email, if you write to us by email.
  • Proofpoint, Inc.: security filtering (spam, viruses and impersonation) of the email we receive, if you write to us by email.
  • Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry): error monitoring for the quotation tool, as a sub-processor through the quotation tool platform; it receives the data in its European Union region (Germany).

4. International transfers

Amazon Web Services keeps the website and its logs in the European Union (Ireland), and Sentry receives the quotation tool's error data in the European Union (Germany). Pages are delivered through the Amazon CloudFront network, so if you browse from outside the European Union your request is served by the nearest server. Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, Proofpoint, Inc. and Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) belong to groups headquartered in the United States, so data may be transferred to that country. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) for companies that participate in that framework and, in any case, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission that their contracts include. If Circular Partners processed quotation tool data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer would rely on one of the safeguards in Chapter V of the GDPR.

5. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability by writing to info@jaglogistica.com or by post to C/ Gallecs, 68, planta 12, 08100 Mollet del Vallès (Barcelona). Tell us which right you are exercising and give us some information that allows us to identify you. We will reply within one month (Art. 12(3) GDPR).

Where we process your data on the basis of legitimate interest (sections 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3), you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR); we will stop processing it unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

If you believe we have not handled your rights properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.

6. Automated decisions

The quotation tool automatically calculates an indicative price, but we do not use your data to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affect you (Art. 22 GDPR), and we do not build profiles.

7. Source of the data and minors

We process the data provided by you or by the company you work for. Our services are aimed at professionals and businesses; if you are under 14, please do not send us personal data.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
